Learning Standards for Families

Ipswich Public Schools follows the Massachusetts learning standards to support students in their practice, understanding, application and mastery in the following content areas: English Language Arts; Mathematics; Science, Technology and Engineering; World Language; Comprehensive Health and Physical Education; Arts; Digital Literacy and Computer Science; and History and Social Sciences. These learning standards and frameworks are established by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. 

These guides to the Massachusetts learning standards help families understand what students are expected to know and be able to do by the end of each grade. Designed to help families and teachers work together to support learning, the guides are available in English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese.
