Degrees and Certifications:
Sheila Halloran, Principal
It is my honor and privilege to be starting my eighth year as principal here at Doyon. I am looking forward to another wonderful year together.
As far as my bio…
I grew up in MA until I was nine then moved to NH. My family and I spent every summer at Hampton Beach. I attended Plymouth State College for my undergraduate degree in Sociology and Salem State College for my elementary education degree. After college, I taught fifth grade in Exeter, NH before moving to New York. While living in New York for the past twenty years, I have taught 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade and was the assistant principal of a middle school. Over the years, I have earned two master's’ degrees. My first master's’ degree is in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus on Literacy from Lesley University and my second degree in School Administration & Supervision from the College of New Rochelle.
In the Summer of 2017, I got married and became Sheila Halloran. This summer, my husband and I have had a wonderful summer visiting friends and family in Colorado, New York, Maine, and RI. We have been able to spend time at the beach, kayak, bike, camp, and attend some fun music venues. My favorite venues have been Red Rocks in Colorado, Ossipee Valley in Maine, and Prescott Park in Portsmouth.
