The Ipswich Public Schools are no longer accepting School Choice applications for the 2024-2025 school year. 

School Choice 2025-2026

The Ipswich School Committee has voted to open School Choice seats for the 2025-2026 school year in the following grades: Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, and Grade 5. There are no available School Choice openings at the Middle School or High School for the upcoming school year.

School Choice Lottery

A lottery for School Choice openings will be held on MONDAY, APRIL 28, 2025 at 9:00 AM. 

Should the district receive more School Choice applications for a particular grade than available openings, the district will select names through a random drawing. Applicants do NOT need to be present during the lottery. All applicants who have submitted an application prior to 9:00 AM on APRIL 28, 2025 will be notified by email of their School Choice status by the end of the day on April 28th. 

Applications for School Choice for the 2025-2026 school year will not be accepted after August 1, 2025.
