The Ipswich Public Schools are no longer accepting School Choice applications for the 2023-2024 school year. 

School Choice 2024-2025

The Ipswich School Committee has voted to open School Choice seats for the 2024-2025 school year in the following grades: Grade 2, Grade 4, Grade 5

There are no available School Choice openings in Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 3 or any grade at the middle or high school level.

Completed applications should be returned to Central Office, located at 1 Lord Square in Ipswich. Applications can also be emailed directly to Laura Hillery at lhillery@ipsk12.net.

School Choice Lottery

A lottery for School Choice openings will be held on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6, 2024 at 9:00 AM. 

Should the district receive more School Choice applications for a particular grade than available openings, the district will select names through a random drawing. Applicants do NOT need to be present during the lottery. All applicants who have submitted an application prior to 9:00 AM on JUNE 6, 2024 will be notified by email of their School Choice status by the end of the day. 

Applications for School Choice for the 2024-2025 school year will not be accepted after August 1, 2024.
